It will do a self discovery of any db you ask it to, and will rediscover said db each time you back it up there-after.

Cost is around +-5k for a 50g db, maybe +-10k for a 100g db. All things are negotiable based on volume, etc.

Features:

	Various DB's to include Oracle;
	Most UNIX's and NT;
	Parallel backup threads;
	Supports Oracle Parallel Server;
	Backup to disk, tape, or tape juke box (via OBSI to a juke box
manager);
	On the fly compression of backups;
	Aging / Retention;
	An almost auto recovery 99% of the time (ask it to recover a db, it
check it, reports what it is going to do, and you hit enter to okay it);
	Allows for Export, Hot, Cold, Control File, Init.Ora, and Archive
backups;
	Understands the oracle block structure so you can do things like:
		Single table extraction from a hot/cold backup;
		Fast begin/end tablespace hot backups;
		Incremental backups;
	Allows you to test recovery from backups without actually overlaying
anything;
	Supports raw disk (again the Oracle Parallel Server);

Blah, Blah, Blah (I should get paid for writing this, or at least a free t-shirt or something).

Brian,
Thanks for the reply.
I am definitely interested. I have couple of more questions: Are they easy to set up?
How much does it cost?

Thanks again

David
