Hi All!
To speed up my restore script I run 3 processes in parallel. How I can find out when this three processes (.exe) will be done to start Oracle? In this script Oracle start and do not wait until .exe is complete. Thanks a lot.
Greg.

. /export/home/oracle/.profile

echo "Shutting down Oracle at: `date`">> /tmp/coldrestore.log ${ORACLE_HOME}/bin/svrmgrl <<EOF >>/tmp/coldrestore.log 2>&1 connect internal
shutdown immediate;
exit
EOF
/u05/backup/coldrest1.exe &
/u05/backup/coldrest2.exe &
/u05/backup/coldrest3.exe &

echo RESTORE are now COMPLETE !

${ORACLE_HOME}/bin/svrmgrl <<EOF >>/tmp/coldrestore.log 2>&1 connect internal
startup;
exit
EOF
echo "Cold Restore completed at: `date`" >> /tmp/coldrestore.log
