We are doing that here.

We went with freeware solution using GhostScript and GSviewer.

It works by setting up a post script printer driver ( I used one of Apple's, HP's did some non-PS stuff ) and print to a file.

Using GS, we can create a PDF from the PS file.

Kinda kludgy, but works for us.

You can easily find GhostScript via your favorite search engine.
