Thanx for the replies all.

Old files had indeed been moved, New log Switch had not yet took place ...

Other question concerning log-files :

Production database was shut down (at 2 AM), all files copied. On a second system (test) running a recovery of the production database. Seems to work, but it asks for archive log-files created after the shut down and copy of the production database.

How's that possible ?

Don't ask, trying to help someone without having access to the DB myself ...
