If all fails: bump the system. Usually, on NT this will do the trick.

Subject: Delete OS-files on NT
Hi
i have the following situation with oracle 7.3.4. on NT
i have 2 tablespaces each 5 Gig, i deleted those tablespaces because they
are now on another server.
when i try to delete the OS files (3/tablespace) i get the message those
files are in use.
Even when i shutdown the database, the message returns.
The size of those datafiles are 2G+2G+1G.
Any one with a suggestion what this problem is ?
