Dear All,

I restore a database through copying the datafiles and password from the old sever into the new server on the same location... and all is fine but when trying to do an export i keep getting these errors :

Exp-00008: oracle error 6544 encountered
ora-06553: could not find program unit being called

and this is shown for each table without any rows exported....

Thanks All,

Is this 6553 or 6544?

Copy and paste what you have, don't retype it.
More copy and paste the log till the error stack.

Michel

Did you copy files from a 32 bit database to a server that has 64 bit oracle or vice versa? Many times an internal Pl/SQL error is an indication of this. the word size for the p-code is wrong length for the software. If this is the case, MAYBE running ~/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql will fix it.
