Hi All,

One of my tablespaces is not listed in dba_free_spaces.
Tablespace has objects and its not offline.
What may be the reason for that??

Reading The Fine Manuals....Smile

Thanks and Regards

Kiran

most likely that tablespace holds either UNDO or TEMPORARY segments.

Maybe because it has no more free space. Logical, doesn't it?

Sorry all...,

I think, if there is no free space in the tablespace and it is not extending automatically, oracle is not going to show the details in dba_free_space.

Is that right???

Thanks and Regards

Kiran

No.
UNDO is special.
And generally speaking, an object belongs to one tablespace at most.
