Hi all,
I have a query that chooses Hash join as join plan for its execution. But if i force the query to use nested loop join hint it is giving me less cost.Is it gud practise to use hints for the queries?

Thanks,
kiran.

No, let the optimizer chooses its path just give it correct statistics.

Also the ultimate measure should be execution time and/or used resources not cost.
