Hi all,

I am using forms10g,reports10g,database 10gR2.i have a requirement to store the report in local meachine automatically while running the report please help me to do this

Hello Jebesh

Kindly guide me that what kind you want to save...

1. Create a new report and save it @ runtime .

2. Compile the report and save it @ runtime .

3. Only Copy from the server to local machine @ runtime .

So its give me way to help you out.

i need Only Copy the report out put from the server to local machine at runtime .

Dear Jibesh

If you are opening the report from the form. so on form you can copy the file from the HOST Command/Procedure. Else Report didn't support the HOST Command

Hi Jeb,

Could you please tell me which version of Application server you are using.
If you are using 10g, I will provide you the help. You need to configure WebUtil in your 10g forms and with the help of WebUtil Packages, you could easily transfer the files from server to client.
In the attached zip file, there is 1 WebUtil demo file which illustrates all functionalities of the same.
