Hi,

I am having Oracle 10g Installed on Unix. This database is having millions of rows in it. I want to use the NLS_SORT and want to know how is it going to impact on database performace in oracle 10g.

Any ideas?

Comparing to what?
If you need a special sort, you need it.
If your question is will it take longer with it than without it. The answer is: of course. It will always take more time to do something than to not do it.
