Hi experts.
Situation is this , My production server's Hotbackup(user managed) completed at 7:30PM, and My database looses its redologs and controlfiles at 8:22PM , almost after 52 minutes, My database was running in archive log mode. Now I want to know can I recover data between these 52 minutes? I can apply hotbackup, it is the simplest way, But I am loosing the data of 52 minutes, My redo log size is 100M. one archive has been created of 80M. while I start recovery ,oracle server asked for file, I gave, then it gave the error of block corruption. Is there any possibility to recover. Please suggest me.

Thanks
vivek

Yes, you can recover your database upto recent archived log file.

1. restore complete host backup which you taken last recent.
2. apply all archivelog file upto last created.

You will have to do Point-in-time Recovery (PITR) and will loose any data that was still in the redo logs.
