Hi Friends,

I have applied the patch 4589082. My oracle ver is 10.2.0.1. The patch is successfully applied as shown below
bash-3.00$ ./p4589082.sh
Finding Possible stage areas...
Stage area /wlogic/oracle/stage requires patching. Patching it now..
Done


I have reboot the server but the version remains 10.2.0.1 (should become 10.2.0.3)!


Can you please help.

Did you also apply post-installation tasks?
You have to do ALL the steps describe in the readme file.

By the way, patch 4589082 is "ERROR IN INVOKING TARGET 'RELINK' OF MAKEFILE, LD: LIBRARY -LDCE: NOT FOUND" and has nothing to do with patchset 3 (10.2.0.3), so it does not change this number.

can you please tell me which patch set to use to upgrade the version to 10.2.0.3.
