Two questions:

I am very dumb so I am using Windows Live One Care.

It is telling me that I need to back up everything and one way of doing it is with something called a centralized backup device

http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=onecarev2&queryType=keyword&query=buh_ekam&sid=46063234-939b-4391-b8b7-468c6701e96 0_20034303&mkt=en-US

I am trying to figure out what a centralized backup device is.

First question: Are these things centralized backup devices?

http://www.dell.com/content/products/category.aspx/storage?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&~ck=mn&ST=backup%20device&dg c=ST&cid=19862&lid=447308

I have been reading about websites that you can pay to back up all your stuff like this one for example.

http://www.evault.com/pages/start/ppc-onlinebackupgeneral/index.html?Campaign_Id=11481&Activity_Id=7141&gclid=CInkl7_GqJECFQw sOAodXA6Kfg

Second Question: Does anyone have experience with both methods of backup and if so, opinion about the comparative pros and cons of them?

When I was young my IQ (without the C) was 186 but it’s been pretty well eroded away over the years by all the booze and sinful living. It’s probably about 30 now.

I think it was 18.6 and still is now. Twisted Evil

Sorry I asked.

Looks like I found a forum populated by folks who don’t have much to do with their lives.

Most forums are created and populated by people who are interested in helping each other and others who are not as advanced as they are.

Occasionally, a forum is a loitering area for those who have no lives because they don’t like themselves and neither does anybody else, and they hover around these forums to make disparaging remarks in a vain effort to puff up their egos by displaying their vast and amazing technological superiority.

Don’t bother to kick me out of this one, I am more than happy to leave and never return.

If I get any more responses from these insipid morons, I’ll just put it in my blocked senders list.

Jmdraft,
This forum entertains only oracle related posts. My sincere apologies for disappointments. Yes, Dell devices which you mentioned can be used for a centralized backup solution. Yes, there are online backup service providers which provides you storage on their servers as paid services. If you have any Oracle related questions please do post them & we promise you will never be disappointed.

Michel I liked the gif you posted. I have saved it for myself.
