good morning all
could you please help with the following:
I have created a group page= welcomepage (my portal attempt)
i have portlets inside pages which are populated on the welcome portal
i have a form attached /populated on the portlet(which i created from a table I've created)
the form can update and insert/ serch a employee from the database and populate the info for a user to manupulate
my difficulty is
1.how do i capture information of the person who is using the form(current user)
2.I have created a login table(fileds:username,user_id,date(sysdate) ) updating the data
3.Is this possible with portal form?
where do i start?
4. i'm not good with PL/SQL (can this be done with a trigger or a procedure)
5. How do i go about, where do i write the code?
can i hace the current user's name polpulated on the current page he/she is on
please help, or if you can direct me to the webside where i can gen the code/HELP
