Hi,
Just started to use Oracle Express for a development project.
The data stored is complex and we need to perform periodical backups.
I have enabled the ARCHIVELOG feature to enable online backups to be able to take backups without having to shut the database down.
The Windows XP installation contains a command file (Backup.bat) that stores
data files in the flash_recovery_area.
Which files do I need to copy to tape?
Must all files in the flash_recovery_area be kept to be able to perform recovery?
What about incremental vs full backups.
Please bare with my newbi questions
