i got error as control file 'c:\oracle\--\control02.ctl version 11900 inconsistent with file c:\--\control01.ctl version 11898 how to resolve this issue?
i got connected using sys.please give me detailed steps to remove this error(i am not good in oracle dba concepts).
thnx in advance.

shutdown the database, take a backup of all files, copy control02 into control01 and try to restart.
