Hot Backup >>> inconsistent, online (database open)
Cold Backup >>> consistent, offline (database close)

According Ana answer:
database temperature
In term of Hotbackup >>> greater than 0.
In term of Coldbackup >>> equal to 0.

What is difference between Hotbackup & hotbackup ??

Hotbackup:Daily we will take Hotbackup, without database shutdown. All user working without termineted

Coldbackup. Weekly once we will take Coldback, database shutdown, offline is important. User nobody cannot connect.,
