I can not see the OCFS2 package in Oracle RAC environment of my company.

Must OCFS2 be installed in Oracle10g RAC environment?

As far as I understand OCFS is optional. Database files (for RAC) can be stored on OCFS (shared cluster filesystems), ASM or even RAW disks.

Shocked ...Oh! Sound this good! I just know that using OCFS build RAC.

May somebody give me some direction how to use ASM or RAW device build RAC environment in VMware?
