Pavuluri, I've seen two questions you asked recently. Both of them look the same: "I have this, I want this". Although an example is a great thing, why do you expect us to decode what you meant to say? How much would it cost if you, actually, write several sentences and EXPLAIN your requirement?
For example, a problem you have in this topic: I must be quite stupid because I had to see Michel's suggestion and check your question again, calculate number of months between value you wrote and say "Oh! So that was the question!".
So, why don't you write a question like this: "I have a table with some date values (see the example). I need to calculate how many months are there between two dates. Could someone explain how to do that, please?"
Because, depending on current frame of mind, I'll simply skip your question and move on to one who can articulate his/her problem (and I believe I'm not the only one who does that). Michel is just too kind and is trying to help, even though you don't understand what you want and what he suggests.
