I keep getting the following error in my listener log. It seems to occur for several seconds periodically throughout the day, then reconnects ok with no interferance from anyone. Any ideas?
TNS-12500: TNS:listener failed to start a dedicated server process
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00530: Protocol adapter error
32-bit Windows Error: 2: No such file or directory

SQL> show parameter processes;
NAME TYPE VALUE
------------------------------------ ----------- ----------
aq_tm_processes integer 2
db_writer_processes integer 6
job_queue_processes integer 30
log_archive_max_processes integer 1
processes integer 750
How much should i increase it by, make it up to 1000?

Thanks Michel. My server has 8GB of physical memory, i have a 1.5GB SGA and a 512mb PGA. The memory doesn't appear to be a problem, but i could increase the SGA and the processes value. Which one would you suggest i do first or will one have a knock-on effcet to the other?
