Hi all,

I've accidentally closed the "Current Schema" drop-down list toobar in TOAD, and now I cannot find a way to enable it again.

Can anyone show me how to enable this drop down list again please?

I've tried all sorts of ways, Options, Customise, etc but still cannot find it.

in the TOAD application (at least for version 8.6.0), there is a drop-down box that you can pick which Schema you want to run your SQL against. It's effectively an "Alter Session command".

I've 'closed' this drop-down box and now cannot find a way to restore it.

It would be nice if you could post a screenshot so that we could see what is missing, but, obviously, you can not show us something that doesn't exist.

I wouldn't know how to help you ... unless you are willing to reinstall TOAD and hope for the best.

Go to the menu Database->Schema Browser, there in left side you can see that drop down box which has the list of all schemas. But you can't close the drop down box only you can close schema browser window. For more help read toad usuar manaul pressing F1.

Kiran.

Right click on the toolbar and select on the "Current Schema" option, then it will enable for you.

Find out the attachment.

Oh? If you shared that information earlier, you'd probably get the answer much sooner. How is anyone supposed to know what you are actually talking about?

Anyone who's a frequent user of TOAD perhaps Wink

But I'm still figuring out how to get rid of that drop down box so I can try to get it back Laughing

I was thinking of removing and restoring this, while he was actually talking about that.

Oh well, never mind ... But, if you are still looking how to remove it, right-click anywhere in SQL Editor's toolbar and uncheck the "Current Schema" option.

Hi, yes, thanks this is exactly what I'm trying to find out - how to re-enable it.

I've disabled it by double-clicking on the this and hitting the 'x' button.

Now though, my Right-CLick on the toolbar does not have the "Current SChema" option.

I expected this from you. There are 2 or more tool bar. You should right click on the same tool bar where set schema suppose to be.

Try...
