The database in question is in a Sun - Cluster Node. The server has resource groups configured. All Oracle realted services are monitored and actually managed by the Cluster resource groups.
The database keeps bouncing due to excessive load on the server. I came to know that this is a known issue with the oracle release 9.2.0.5.
This morning again, the DB shutdown with an immediate option and a trace file was generated by LGWR. The trc file didnot say much. I am not able to paste the trc file right now.
The last line in the trace file says "Checking if LNS proceses need to be shutdown"..
Can some one please throw some light on this issues.
Thank you
K V
