Hi,
Can someone help on this. I have successfully installed the oracle 10G, but not able to access via sqlplus. Below is the error message:

sqlplus "/as sysdba"

SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production on Fri Nov 30 06:42:36 2007

Copyright (c) 1982, 2005, Oracle. All rights reserved.

ERROR:
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges


What should i do now?

SET ORACLE_SID=SIDNAME

SQLPLUS /NOLOG

CONNECT SYS@DBNAME AS SYSDBA

Hi Babu,
I'm getting same error. Actually i am install oracle 10G as manual installation. After successfully installation. i'm getting this error.

What is Operating System (OS) name & version?
What is OS username?

Only a member of the DBA group can do this.

Did you try without tnsentry name?
Did you recreate password file ?
