Friends,
Does increasing the number of redo log files has any impact on Database in any way?
Does it affect the overall performance or recovery performance?
Please help.

I could give a more accurate answer, if you post a more precise question.
You posted a general question, you get a general answer.

The answer depends on your workoad, you storage, your cpu and so on.

Michel

I think it would have been better to provide the answer precisely rather than posting replies after replies and providing philosophical lectures.

You are entitled to your opinion.
We are entitled to our own opinions.
You don't know, what you don't know.

>Does increasing the number of redo log files has any impact on Database in any way?
It depends.
>Does it affect the overall performance or recovery performance?
It depends.

Both responses directly above are PRECISE & CORRECT.
If you disagree, post different answers & test cases.
