Hi,

My DB is not responding when issue a query , I checked the alert log file and v$session every thing fine.

plz provide help to me where i have check exactly to identify the problem..

My DB is not responding when issue a query
1. check v$session view user status is "active" which execute your sql query.

2. also check v$session_longops view.

v$session every thing fine.
What did you check in v$session view and what is fine ?

and from where you execute your query ?
it is sql*plus command prompt, vb or toad ???

Maybe OP check different instance Smile
that is why I checked [...] v$session every thing fine.
