Hi,

Can anybody guide me how the two tables are joined
per_qualifications and per_establishment_attendances except attendance_id?

Can there be attendance_id in per_establishment_attendances table which is not associated with any qualification_id of per_qualifications table.

If yes , then what it signifies?

I'm intrigued.

How do you expect us to know how your tables are joined?

If these tables are from one of the Oracle Apps products, do say so, and we'll shift your query over the the appropriate forum.

Otherwise, have a look in USER_CONSTRAINTS for constraints with types of R (Foreign Keys), and look at the constraint specified in R_CONSTRAINT_NAME

Really?

I've never seen them in any database I've used.

They're not part of the Scott/Tiger demo tables, and they're not part of the replacement HR training tables.

Where do they come from?

Ahhhh.
Google to the rescue.

They're part of the Oracle Apss HRMS system.

Moving this one to the outer darkness that is the Apps forum.

hi

you can use ATTENDANCE_ID to link the two table or
next time you can use this query.

select * from all_tab_columns where column_name = 'ATTENDANCE_ID' it's gonna give you the list of table that use the ATTENDANCE_ID.

hope this helps.
