hi,

am installing RAC installation in IBM power PC.
after i installed ocfs2 and when i restart my machine.
it keep on restarting.
i have 2 nodes in cluster.when i switch on only node its working
fine.And i find that in ocfs2console,when i give check it is saying that


Skipping journal replay because -N was given in ocfs2

please provide me solution since am in customer site now.

You can always trace to code to see what's happening:

if (!(ost->ost_fs->fs_flags & OCFS2_FLAG_RW)) {
         printf("** Skipping journal replay because -n was "
                "given.  There may be spurious errors that "
                "journal replay would fix. **\n");
         goto out;
}

Look like OCFS is starting in READ ONLY mode and hence cannot apply the journal to recover itself.

tell me please that when we are installing OCFS2 wheather we want to give public ip are private ip while configuring.?
