I have installed oracle 10.2.0.2 on Solaris 5.8. I have created one datafile that resides on NFS.
When the production trying to retrieve the data through application, then it retrieve the data with a very slow speed and take 7-8 min to fetch the data whereas for some projects they retrieve the data within 1 min.
But the query is same and data read rate is very slow.

I have checked, cpu ulilization is 1-2% only.

Please help me to find out the cause of this issue.

Thanks in Advance
Gulshan

Check IO time at OS and Oracle level (see StatsPack and v$filestat).
