dear all;

i faced a problem concerning backing up my database under windows OS. i know i need a media management library , i tried downloading oracle secure backup and tivolo storage machine but they didnt work .
so my final plan is to backup to the disk then copy the backup data from the disk to a tape.

so my question is how to copy data from disk to tape ??

system specs. :
windows2000 server
oracle 10g

You can use TSM for instance.

As you don't say which we can't help you make it works.
More you likely get more useful answers in related forum instead of Oracle one.

In addition, when you bought your tape device, did it not come with software?
