I have installed oracle enterprise manager on one of my workstation. I want to use it for remote oracle server backup.

What kind of configurations are required on remote server and what are the key step doing this with Enterprise manager.

On remote server i'm using Oracle 10g.....

My workstation has been configured with Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Release 2 (10.2)

the question is do i need to install grid control agent at remote server just to take backup...

I'm gonna repeat my question that i want to sue enterprise manager to take backup for remote oracle servers.
