Hi,
I've Oracle database with storage on fast matrix. There I have three filesystems. On first filesystem I've all datafiels four large tablespaces.

I want to add next datafiles on tablespace AA. What is the best solution to do it:
1) Add some datafile to first filesystem, add next some datafile to second filesystem (datafiles tablespace AA will be on two filesystems)
2) Move exist datafile to second filesystem, add next some datafile to second filesystem (datafiles tablespace AA will be on one filesystems)

Please help me, which solution is better for performance?

Thanks a lot
Krzysztof

In the latest versions, files are used in a round robin way.
