Hi Experts,

I am working on the production database.
I want to know about the startup and shutdown of the oracle.

I know that STARTUP and SHUTDOWN commands are normally used to start and shutdown the oracle.

But startup and shutdown has some options.

Please let me know in the production database how can i start and shutdown the database(Any options ???)

Thanks in advance.
