2 databases same sever - disconnect from oem [message #275979]

I have two databases installed on one machine. I have oem set-up for both databases using different ports for the dbconsole and agent for each database. When I login to OEM for each database, when I login to the second oem I get disconnected from the oem session for the first database. Any suggestions?

Oracle version?

Are you talking about GRID control?

Any error message?

Not grid control. No message on the console, just suddenly lose connection and the login screen is displayed. Whe I go through the log files I see the error below.

java.lang.NullPointerException

Are you on 10g?

Restart your emctl.

emtcl start dbconsole.

It could be time zone error.

Yes, I am on 10g. I tried restarting, but still the same issue.

This fixed the java.lang:exception error, but I still get logged off one of the oem as soon as I connect to the other database.

Did you create both databases by DBCA?

Whats the entires in your oratab file?

Thanks for all the help. The date issue fixed the error message. The disconnect issue is something to do with Interner Explorer 7. If I use firefox I do not get disconnected.
