Hello,

I successfully installed Solaris10 on a Sun Fire V440 server. I am totally new with Solaris. Anyway the installation is ok and now I'd like to keep the server up to date.

I read on the Sun site that this an be done automatically using UpdateManager. I downloaded but I didn't figured it out.

Can someone explain me how to keep the server up to date? install the last patch... I don't have any contract with Sun.. I can't contact them to get the latest patch...

Thank you.

Do you realize this an Oracle forum?
The Unix part is only for Unix specific questions about Oracle and on Unix system itself.

Don't expect many answers, you should better post your question in a Solaris forum.
Anyway, if someone knows the answer...

Regards
Michel
