Hi friends,

We have a web application with Oracle 10g as backend.
The problem we are facing is that if we have more than 300 sessions
,ORA-12500- TNS Failed to start dedicated process
error is displayed

The sessions are getting killed only after 2-3 minutes after the connection is slosed

Any work around for this issue?

Thanks,

Manoop

See the OS parameter settings such as maxuproc. There may be a limit.

NO,
YOu can't do anything on front end side.
