Hi,

I need to restore RMAN Backup on a new server to create a test database.

Can some one please help me with the steps.

Hi Michel,

I have been doing just that - Reading the documentation. I am working on doing a duplicate db using RMAN. Looks like the best method to get a copy of the production on to the test bed is to use Duplicate DB.

If you can do it, it is indeed the best way if you want to duplicate the database.
