The requirements are as follows:
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of Oracle DBA experience with Oracle 10g and 9i
Oracle running on both Windows and Linux (Windows is required, Linux is a strong plus)
If not Oracle on Linux, then Oracle on any other flavor of Unix is a plus
Strong experience with Oracle Recover Manager (RMAN) Should know the product inside and out
Strong experience working with the Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid Control)
Setting up event capture and alerts
Building custom alerts
Working with all Oracle configuration issues
Strong SQL
Troubleshooting
Offsite coverage
Salaries will be based on experience. It could be expanded higher for a true Guru..
