Hi,
I am facing a problem while configuring Oracle Audit Vault on my windows xp machine. I have been able to configure the server and the agent, but at the last step when i try to run OSAUD collector, it says
Command executed :
avctl start_collector -collname OSAUD_Collector -srcname ORACLE.WIPRO
Response :
AVCTL started
Starting collector...
Error executing task start_collector: Http Communication error: Http Communication error: 500
The server on which audit vault server, agent and the oracle database are installed are behind a firewall. Has this error message something to do with the firewall? I saw from one of the forums that this might be because of the CONNECT permission not provided to the user, but i have already fired the query for granting access to the user using the below command
"alter user vsrcusr grant connect through avagent"
Please provide me a solution for this. I have been trying to get this working for quite some time.
