hi all,
Iam in urgent need.can anyone help please as iam new dba.
Problem is that user cannot connect to db.In the morning they are able to connect but at noon they can't.When i try it at db level the session doesnot show any message.I checked alert.log also ,no err in it.what should i do.
Any help can be greatly appreciated.

First, read and follow OraFAQ Forum Guide.
Then, nothing is urgent is a forum (this is in the guidelines).
Then, you didn't provide enough information. How can you expect we answer a question like this. The only information we have is that at noon they can't connect.
Then I should say, let them go back to bed and try to connect at midnight.
How did they try to connect?
Are you sure they try to connect to an Oracle database?
Are you sure they try to connect to the correct database?
Are you sure there is no error message?
What does mean they can't connect?
