Hi,

I'm using grid control to monitor some databases an I get some policy violations on some specific files.
From Oracle grid control manual I understand only user oracle and group oinstall should have access to the files but I'm not fully sure about this.

Here are some examples of file in my case have permissions 755, should I restrict them to 750? and why isn't this done by OUI?

oracle 10
/export/oracle/10gR2/inventory/Queries21/netQueries/10.2.0.1.0/netQueries.jar
/export/oracle/10gR2/inventory/Queries21/ClusterQueries/10.2.0.1.0/ClusterQueries.jar
/export/oracle/10gR2/inventory/Queries21/areasQueries/10.2.0.1.0/areasQueries.jar /export/oracle/10gR2/inventory/Queries21/netQueries/10.2.0.2.0/netQueries.jar /export/oracle/10gR2/inventory/Queries21/LangQueries/1.3.6.4/LangQueries.jar

and some oracle 9 files (other server)
/export/oracle/ora92/ocommon/nls/mesg/lxeus.msb
/export/oracle/ora92/ocommon/nls/mesg/lxeus.msg
/export/oracle/ora92/ocommon/nls
/export/oracle/ora92/ocommon/nls/mesg
/export/oracle/ora92/JRE
