If I'm not wrong, listener.log does have information only that which connection is established and which is not. But if I want to know that why the connection was not established then what can I do.

Thanks

if I want to know that why the connection was not established then what can I do.

First check your jdbc url. Whether computer name/ ip address is set properly or not. Database name is set properly or net.

Then check the username and password of the database.

Based on that take necessary steps.

Thanks DreamzZ,Mohammad

It's kind of difficult for me to understand , coz I am working together with crystal report , JDBC . I am not able to understand anything at this moment.
The error I'm getting is Database Connector Error:Not Implemented:- when I'm trying to generate crystal report.

Another error was
Logon Error: I/O Exception :The network adapter could not establish the connection .

Also I'm not getting any error in alert.log and I'm also checking listener.log from which i could not get much information.

Thanks
