OS:- redhat enterprise linux 4
DB:- 10.2.0.1

Does somebody know , if there is any connections.log in Oracle
I am trying to connect to database through JDBC connections on another server.I dont know much about JDBC connections .
All I know is we are trying to connect from .50 to .51 and we are getting login failed . I am wondering that if there is any connections.log so that I can figure out what can be the cause.

It's kind of difficult for me to understand , coz I am working together with crystal report , JDBC . I am not able to understand anything at this moment.
The error I'm getting is Database Connector Error:Not Implemented:- when I'm trying to generate crystal report.
Another error was
Logon Error: I/O Exception :The network adapter could not establish the connection .
Also I'm not getting any error in alert.log and I'm also checking listener.log from which i could not get much information.
