Hi all,
I have seven oracle (9.2.0.6) instances in single oracle home.Now I want to upgrade one of the instance to 9.2.0.8 for which I need to create a new oracle_home.
Can any one tell me the detailed steps to create a new oracle home.

just give a new Oracle home name and directory when OUI asks you.

When you install Oracle make sure that you give the ORACLE_HOME value like /home/oracle/product/9.2.0.8 something like this..Then you need to change ORATAB, listener file..
