listener Issue [message #261654]

hi

i am running oracle server 10.2.0.1.0.

The database named CUS was running fine till today morning.

Now no clients are able to connect stating the error Listener not open.

But the server is up and running

CUS =
  (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = chn82690.ad.company.com)(PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
      (SERVER = DEDICATED)
      (SERVICE_NAME = CUS)
    )
  )

i have this entry in the tnsnames.ora.can anyone tell me what needs to be done?

Is the database in restricted mode (select logins from v$database)?

A simple correction.
