What you execute?
What is the result of this query?
select open_mode from v$database;

11:22:02 SQL> select open_mode from v$database;

OPEN_MODE
----------
READ WRITE

but if i m execting select statement the database is not shown and oracle is also not given error.

if the database upload is less then the execetion is fine..if upload the database is more then the execution is not show the database or any errors.

It seems to be it is working ok. It may be a problem in the terminal from which you are executing command. If you use sql*plus check the settings on

Show Pause

By it I mean database not about client tools.

Use "show pause" and whats the result of it. Ensure that you set it off.

set pause off
