Dear Friend.
I have a production Database.
recently I want to shutdown my database.


i'm connect as sysdba.
conect successful..but
after that i was try to Shutdown my database.
>shutdown Immediate
but it was give the error.
>Insuficient Previlize.
Give me solution What can i do now.

Copy and paste your SQL*Plus session.
Post your Oracle version (4 decimals).

Did you try to run the "dbshut" script logged in as "oracle" ??
