I am trying to export AWR tables from one database and import them into another. I can't seem to find the sequence that Oracle is using to generate the snap_id. Does anyone know where it's at or what other mechanism Oracle is using to generate the snap_id?

Once again, how does this help to find where snap_id comes from?

Found it.
Not sure at 100% but I think it is SYS.WRI$_ADV_SEQ_TASK.

Nope. That doesn't have the same sequence numbers as the snapshots, but it is related to taking snapshots because it increments when taking one.

What is the difference? Did you take into account sequence cache size?
Post your queries and result.

Yes, the cache is only 10 and the difference between the lastest snap_id and the nextval of the sequence is 398 (the last snap_id being 3085 and the nextval being 3483)

Thanks,
Adam
