Hello ALL,

My windows machine (2003R2) plus oracle 10g (10.2.0.1):
I was having problem with SQL TUNING. It is 01 big SQL with some full table scan.

I ran EM DBConsole... ran ADDM... set up some parameters to sql advisor and ran it. Oracle starts the optimizer process. It started at 05:00AM and it's running until now 13:00hs... (8hours).

I want to stop this optimizer. I shutdown oracle but when it starts up again... the cpu usage goes to 100% immediately. I went to EM DBconsole... and I have deleted all the optimize scheduled tasks. There is one that I can stop neither cancel. How can I stop this job using sqlplus? (I am sys as sysdba).
Regards,

Hello,

I solved.
I went to Administration tab (EM DBConsole)...
==> Database scheduler...
==> Jobs...
==> there was one running job (the one that I was looking for to delete)... select and cancel.

Thank you ALL,
