Hii all

i have a very strange problem

i a have system working on server of ip 110.110.120.10

when i run a report from this server i use this syntax

web.show_document('http://110.110.120.10:8889/reports/rwservlet?usedid=scglt/scglt@xe&REPORT=GRCOXXRA.RDF&destype=cache&desformat=htmlcss);
and after this command the report is running with no problem

see this case
i installed my system to another server (laptop) of ip 110.110.120.5 in the same network

when i run a report from this server i use this syntax

web.show_document('http://110.110.120.5:8889/reports/rwservlet?usedid=scglt/scglt@xe&REPORT=GRCOXXRA.RDF&destype=cache&desformat=htmlcss);

after that it open a web page
having that error
rep-51002: bind to report server rep_regasoft-laptop failed

i don't know why this happened
and the two system are identical the two servers have the same operating system the oracle version in both are the same
every thing are identical except the machine name and the ips

i am confused of that

another strange matter happened on the laptop server
when i obtain an automatic ip the reports is running
and no comment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for everyone helped and helping me

DreamzZ,
Have had the "opportunity" so support a production environment using 9iAS or 10gAS?
If so, what & when?

Just curious.
