hi all,
I have a 450G database,I am planning to take the backup using rman.Daily 2G will be incremented.What backup strategy shoul i use.And how much space should be there in the recovery catalog database.Atleast what are things i have to consider for backup strategy.

thanks for reply.
I am planning to take the b/u in disk.I have around 250 datafiles.And planning to take weekly level0 and incremental in week days.So how much size of recovery catalog tablespace should i create for rman user,And the disk size required for taking backup.

Use Compress option while backing database.
