[root@ds1 oracrs]# uname -a
Linux ds1 2.4.21-27.ELsmp #1 SMP Mon Dec 20 23:34:26 EST 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
[root@ds1 oracrs]# mount -t ocfs
/dev/sdb1 on /u03 type ocfs (rw,_netdev)
i have two servers,one named ds1,another named ds2
ds1 has two hard disks(sda and sdb),ds2 has one hard disk(sda).sdb has one partition is sdb1,sdb1's type is ocfs.sdb is shared disk!
why i can't installer crs on the sdb1?the oracle doucument said:
This section describes three methods of preparing the shared disks for use with RAC:
1. Oracle Cluster File System (OCFS)
2. Automatic Storage Manager (ASM)
3. Raw Devices
I test this experiment on vmware.

thanks!!!
